At the time of filming in 1986, Paul Hogan was still married to his first wife, Noelene Edwards. The couple met at a Sydney swimming pool in 1958, where Paul worked as a lifeguard before pursuing his acting career. Paul and Noelene married when he was 19 and went on to have five children together.
