What Happened to P-Square?

I’ve been a huge fan of P-Square for years, but I recently realized I haven’t heard much about them lately. They were such a big deal in the Afrobeats scene, and their hits were everywhere. But it seems like they’ve gone quiet.

Does anyone know what happened to them? Did they split up, or are they just on a break? I remember hearing some rumors about a fallout between the brothers, but I’m not sure what’s true and what’s just gossip.

Are they still making music together, or have they moved on to solo projects? I’d love to hear any updates if you have them—really missing their energy in the music scene

"Hey! I’m a big P-Square fan too. The rumors you heard are true—they did split up a few years ago due to some personal issues between the brothers, Peter and Paul. They both went on to pursue solo careers under the names Mr. P and Rudeboy.

The good news is that they’ve reconciled and are back together making music as P-Square again. They’ve released some new tracks and even went on a reunion tour recently, so their energy is definitely back in the Afrobeats scene. It’s great to see them working together again

P-Square has split again. The duo, known for hits like “Personally” and “Do Me,” has had a tumultuous history with multiple breakups and reunions. While they did reconcile in 2021, their latest split seems to be final. Both brothers are now pursuing solo careers.

According to PREMIUM TIMES, Paul, also known as Rudeboy, stated in an interview with City FM that the once-dominant music group had split up. He also claimed that his brother, Peter (also known as Mr. P), had filed a petition with the EFCC, accusing Jude and him of financial misbehavior, including embezzling P-Square’s funds.
