Sal is not gay. Despite rumors, he is reportedly married to fellow New Yorker Francesca Muffaletto.
Sal rarely discusses his private life, but in an episode of the Daytime Talk Show with Sally Jessy, he jokingly admitted to being gay. This confession was a prank to encourage his friend James Murray to reveal his sexuality.
