Hi there, Did Jesse mention one of the pickers had died? I may have misheard. I watched that show once too, so this was very upsetting. But from what I understand, Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz—the one I thought Jesse was referring to—are the two original individuals who are still alive. Unfortunately, though, Frank had a crippling stroke a few years prior.

You are actually correct. Just watched the following video and am astonished by the discoveries.
Because of his significantly weakened immune system, someone in his situation would probably die from COVID. Though I detested the Covid plots and think they could have just had him pass away from pneumonia, I still think his death was the ideal way to wrap out the season.

Frank Fritz from American Pickers is alive and well! There were some rumors about his death in the past, but those weren’t true.
I was saddened to hear Jesse mention that one of the pickers had died, especially since I watched the show and found it quite upsetting. After some confusion, I realized that Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz, the original stars of “American Pickers,” are still alive. However, Frank Fritz did suffer a debilitating stroke a few years ago. It’s always tough to hear about the struggles of people you’ve followed on TV, and I hope Frank’s condition improves.
